About Cloudform

Introduction

It all started on September 28th, 2021 when Cloudform was founded. We first created the games division (now known as Ciryx) and then came the technology division. From founding we knew gaming was a great place for this company and thought technology would be a great industry to expand to. As of earlier this year we have sunset the Cloudform technology division with our eyes set on a new industry instead.

With our eyes set on a new industry we continued with gaming and rebranding the Cloud Tech division to what is now known as Ciryx. Ciryx currently has two Development studios with future expansion of our studios planned for the future. Our first studio was formerly known as Roblox Monkey Devs and has been rebranded to Stratus Studios. Our second studio was formerly known as Innovate Studios and has been rebranded to Nimbus Studios.

While rebranding, we finally narrowed our search of a new industry to software. Software is integral to games running and is paving the way for our new age of Cloudform. With this new division comes another name - starting as Cloud Software and now becoming Altyx. At Cloudform we are always thinking about the bigger picture, requiring everyone to Think Bigger.

History

Sep 21, 2021 - Jan 23, 2025

The Early Years

Upon founding we created Cloudform's first division - Cloud Gaming - focused on building games with eventual cloud infrastructure. This led to the creation of Cloud Tech, and our first two development teams: Roblox Monkey Devs and Innovate Studios.

Our first game was Save The Monkeys, which received 5 updates before we identified fundamental design flaws and discontinued it. Innovate Studios then built Innovation City, completing three updates before pausing due to its ambitious scale requiring a better framework.

Rethinking Everything

Going back to the drawing board, we discontinued the technology division and created Cloud Software - a platform designed to power our games in the future. A deliberate pause allowed us to plan more carefully, recognizing that attempting too much at once had caused prior setbacks.

The New Cloudform

After our break we returned with a new logo and full rebrand - Cloud Gaming became Ciryx, Cloud Software became Altyx, Roblox Monkey Devs became Stratus Studios, and Innovate Studios became Nimbus Studios. These rebrands created a new vision, and we cannot wait for you to see what's in store.
